Firefighting Gear
It's hard to believe it's already winter time and it's been so long since I've added anything new to my blog. Since my last entry, not a lot has changed. The truck still runs and a few new pieces of equipment have arrived to help outfit the truck. Two items of which are brand new traditional style
fire helmets from Bullard. These helmets are really well crafted and detailed. They are going to be incredibly sharp displayed on the truck. Also, since last time, we recieved a new
light bar from Code3. It's the venerable MX7000 but with the latest in technological and engineering advances. It weighs less than half of the original MX bar and it's light output is increased by the use of
injection molded plastic reflectors for the rotators. It even has led's in the lower deck to take advantage of the latest in lighting technolgy. Lastly, we recieved an ultra
rugged laptop computer from Itronix. It's called the GoBookII and it's nearly everything proof. You have to see it to believe it. Waterproof, dirt-proof, shockproof and so many cool features, you really should check it out. Anyway, that's the latest and greatest. I'll pen some more in another thirty days or so.
